Amazing bath, peaceful location, beautiful view, comfortable bed, friendly host, good English, parking available

Nothing not to love.

Stayed over Christmas and had a lovely experience. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the amazing bath, big enough for two people to relax in. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sun set over the field and trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfy and the host was friendly and spoke good English. Parking was available and the value for money was excellent.

There were a few issues during our stay. The entrance to the hotel was overgrown with weeds and there was no number on the building, so it was a bit confusing to find.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Le Clos Charmaine! The location was mind-blowingly peaceful and rural, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The free wi-fi in the cozy and comfortable rooms was a super convenient touch, allowing me to stay connected with friends and family. The electric kettle and kitchen utensils provided made it a breeze to whip up a quick snack or a cup of tea. The flat-screen TV in the room was perfect for relaxing and catching up on my favorite shows. The surrounding area was a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts like myself, with ample opportunities for hiking, cycling, canoeing, fishing. The in-room breakfast was delicious and served with a smile, offering a convenient start to the day. I loved the outdoor dining area, where I could savor my meals while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The restaurant at Le Clos Charmaine offered a diverse and mouth-watering menu, catering to all tastes, and the picnic area with tables was a great spot for a leisurely lunch. The sun loungers and beach umbrellas provided a perfect way to soak up the sun and relax by the water. The children's play area and children's menu were fantastic additions for those traveling with little ones. The availability of cots made it easy for families to accommodate infants. I was pleasantly surprised to find board games available, which added a fun and social element to my stay. The fact that pets were allowed meant I could bring my furry friend along on the trip, making it all the more enjoyable. The 24-hour reception staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. Lastly, the no smoking policy on-site was a refreshing change, ensuring a clean and healthy environment. my stay at Le Clos Charmaine exceeded all expectations and left me craving for another visit soon!

I keep coming back because it has everything I need – free Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, TV. The staff even returned my forgotten sim cards! , there's lots to do - hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and more. Perfect for my trip! Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at this beautiful little apartment. The bath was absolutely amazing, plenty big enough for two people to relax in. Sitting outside overlooking the field and trees, listening to the owls as the sun went down was a real highlight. It was so peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were after. The bed was super comfy, and the host was friendly, welcoming and spoke good English. The parking availability was also a bonus. Despite other guests staying, the soundproofing was excellent, as we didn't hear any noise or evidence of such. our stay at Le Clos Charmaine was excellent value for money.
